State managed hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowmobile trail (called the "Bearskin Trail") is just across the road. Dozens of fine restaurants within minutes. Several restaurants are on Lake Nokomis and are accessible by boat.

A 20' pontoon boat and a 14' fishing boat are available for rental. The pontoon boat rents for $480/week and the fishing boat rents for $200/week.
